The document submission is supported by Springer Online Conference Service (OCS). All participants are required to submit a short abstract (up to 300 words) using the conference template (short abstract submission deadline: 1/11/2021). The scientific committee will make decisions over the acceptance of abstracts.

The authors of accepted abstracts will have the choice to submit either a full paper (6 pages) or an extended abstract (2 pages, which include one figure or table and necessary details about the results and findings) using the conference templates (full paper/extended abstract submission deadline: 10/01/2022).

On submission of the full paper/extended abstract, authors will be asked whether they wish an oral or poster presentation. Full papers and extended abstracts will undergo a full peer review process before acceptance and notification of the format of the presentation.

Oral presentations will be limited. Those extended abstracts and full papers not making an oral presentation will be invited to prepare a poster, for which there will be dedicated time to show case at the conference.

Only accepted full papers will be included in the conference proceedings. The conference proceedings will be published in a RILEM Series book (included in Web of Science) by Springer. Upon acceptance, as is the rule for RILEM conferences, the authors of full papers will be required to transfer their copyright to RILEM. Please note that this will prevent any further publication of the same results in any other indexed media.
